Brief History
Tatra Plastics was founded in 1963 and specialises in the manufacture of round, oval and square plastic tube and profile extrusions, co-extrusions and injection moulding. We also produce a range of Telecom products, and Railway pads and aids, and the Click and Fix range of plastic panelling products.
We are a BT and Network Rail approved supplier and have been providing a competitive, quality service for nearly 50 years.
With our in house technical knowledge and experience we can help you with the design of your product and, if involved in the early stages of development, can advise on the best ways to reduce product and tooling costs as well as helping ensure you obtain the quality levels you desire. We can work from faxed or e-mail drawings in many formats including solidworks, proE, .DXF and .DWG files, or from samples of existing product.
We are able to offer co-extruded profiles, where either two colours or two materials are processed at the same time, reducing the need for secondary assembly or finishing. We can also apply double sided adhesive tape and inkjet print in-line.
